There needs to be more education about viruses messing up the ANS. I had a virus in 2013 and never recovered. Fortunately my GP suspected dysautonomia as she had issues after a virus too, so I’m on medications to help balance my blood pressure and heart rate. Unfortunately there are no effective medications to manage ME/CFS which I’d developed after the virus. I’m shocked the medical community and media are looking at these long haulers from COVID as new phenomenon. People not recovering from viruses is nothing new. There have been millions for decades not recovering from all sorts of viruses including coronaviruses. I really hope you do eventually make a full recovery and the best chance you have is by not overdoing things and allowing your body to heal. Don’t push through! 🤗
